The 29er class at the Sun Hung Kai & Co. Hong Kong Race Week 2025 delivered an exciting and competitive display, ultimately determining its champions based on results from the previous day due to a windless final day.
29er Class: Local Sibling Duo Triumphs
Local siblings Tiffany Mak and Raphael Mak dominated the 29er class, which incorporated the 2025 29er Asian Championship. Their consistent performance throughout the regatta secured them the top spot on the podium.
American sailors Kevin Cason and Holland Vierling, who traveled all the way from San Diego, put in a strong performance to take second place. The Thai team of Patcharaphan Ongkaloy and Kan Kachachuen finished in third, accumulating 38 points overall.
